Antique Chinese Mahjong Game Set

Excellent condition. The value of the set ranges from very conservatively $350 to $1,000 and higher. The front piece and drawers appear to be a beautiful, richly-grained northern Elm. The box is a dark-stained hardwood. The tiles are in Chinese without American indices, which appeared after the 1920s. They appear to be complete. There are 39 scoring sticks, four dice, and four wind indicator pieces. The set does not include Joker tiles, which are part of American Mahjong and appeared after the 1920s. However, those tiles can be purchased separately on sites such as eBay or Etsy if desired.
