Lama Tharchin Rinpoche teaches on Rigdzin Jigme Lingpa’s doha, or song of realization, "Brighter than Crystal: The Indispensable Adornment of View, Meditation, and Action." Jigme Lingpa, the great 18th-century Dzogchen master and treasure revealer of the cycle of Longchen Nyingthig teachings, composed this song and included it in his autobiography, A Harvest That Enjoys Every Good Act.  It is both a reflection on and inspiration for fruition of the complete spiritual life that is as timeless and priceless now as ever.

From Lama Tharchin Rinpoche: "Rigdzin Jigme Lingpa was one of Tibet’s great scholars and poets. He is a rare Tibetan scholar whose education didn’t originate from human teachers but rather through direct encounters with various Buddhas, dakinis, and sublime beings in the purelands. In this way his realization ripened from inside, becoming a truly profound and exemplar teacher and incomparable Mahasiddha with the ability to directly penetrate our heart. Jigme Lingpa’s doha contains the entire path of Dzogchen Great Perfection in symbolic song, showing us the basis for truly renouncing samsara and what is needed to develop the vast view, meditation and action of Dzogchen. While his knowledge is as vast as the sky and mine is smaller than the eye of a needle, I can try to offer some guidance on Jigme Lingpa’s beautiful and profound song."
