The Three Words that Strike the Vital Point (Tsik Sum Nedek) by Garab Dorje

NEW video series for our Heart Teachings members begins in March. Lama Tharchin Rinpoche gives teachings based on the quintessential Dzogchen text, "The Special Teaching of the Wise and Glorious King," a commentary by Patrul Rinpoche on Garab Dorje's Three Words that Strike the Vital Essence.

Rinpoche gave these special teachings at a Dzogchen Retreat at Pema Osel Ling during Thanksgiving weekend in November 2003. Rinpoche did not restrict this Dzogchen retreat but strongly recommended completing the Ngondro Preliminary Practices as the essential foundation for Trekchod practice. He also emphasized the importance of receiving Dzogchen teachings and transmission directly from a lineage master and using these teachings to support that direct transmission. Watching or listening to recordings cannot substitute for the guidance of a living teacher. If you have not received Dzogchen instructions, please wait to view these teachings until you have. 

Rinpoche teaches primarily in Tibetan with English interpretation by Ngawang Zangpo.
